Dr. Yael Proaktor is a policy advocate at the Adva Center. She brings extensive experience and in-depth familiarity with government work across a range of ministries, including PMO, Defense, Social Equality, and Innovation, Science and Technology. She specializes in advancing gender equality within governmental frameworks, Knesset committees, and civil society organizations. Dr. Proaktor drafted a legislative proposal aimed at increasing the representation of women on public company boards. She holds a PhD from Tel Aviv University, where she researched political and media influence on public opinion. She serves on the boards of civil society organizations promoting gender equality in the labor market and supporting emerging Israeli artists.
