Professor Emeritus at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, former member of the Knesset in the Labor Party (2015-2019), and previously a senior research fellow at the Van Leer Institute (1999-2012) and a senior consultant in social protest (2011-2012). Currently a content consultant at the Jaffa Theater. His research deals with philosophy, cultural studies, society and economics and education. He also published three novels.
